Founded in 2000, the Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally
has been providing fun and excitement to people of all ages every year for fourteen years running on the last (full weekend)
of June. Join
us for our 2013 festival June 28 - 30 in Panguitch, Utah and bring your whole family! This event truly has something
fun for everyone. Have you ever wanted to fly in a hot air balloon? Come out to the
launch field every morning at 6:30 a.m. and help pilots launch their hot air balloons and you just might be asked
to go for a ride! We
have a full schedule of events to enjoy including inflatable rides, face painting, vendors, movies and homemade ice cream
at the beautiful Gem Theater, shopping, photo
ops, Lions Club Breakfast, Balloon Rally Bingo, Karaoke Contest, Harley Davidson Parade and Rodeo, Dog Contest, raffle, dance,
live music, 5k race - see schedule for times and locations. Visit Panguitch's Historic Downtown on Saturday evening at dusk and witness the
awe-inspiring spectacle of hot air balloons glowing up and down Main and Center Streets. At 7 p.m. it becomes a street
festival and the bands begin entertaining. You won't want to miss the fun! All are welcome to help the pilots
as the inflate their balloons and children are welcome to help pilots weigh down the balloon baskets. While you are here you enjoying
this weekend event you can make an easy 10 minute drive to Red Canyon which offers beautiful scenery and easy hiking any age
can enjoy. Why not take a trip to see beautiful Bryce Canyon. This wonderful world wide destination is an easy
20 minutes from Panguitch. Be sure to bring your cameras ~ with this event and it's spectacular photo opportunities
along with the natural scenery that surrounds this area it is a photographers dream!
